Security and privacy. Built in from the start.
Your data deserves trust. Klar-ID connects workshops, dealers, brands and bike owners – with modern software, traceable processes and a responsible approach to data.
More about our security standardsHow we handle your business data.
Clear permissions, separate data areas and traceable processes – security starts with everyday work.
Users & permissions
Roles and access rights determine which information and functions are available to users.
Separate data areas
Business data is processed according to the intended roles and organisation assignments.
Traceable processes
Structured processes and documented changes support transparency and control.
Responsible handling of data
Personal data and external data processing are taken into account within our data protection processes.
Security is part of our daily work.
Klar ID processes information that matters to your business: customer data, workshop orders, invoices, orders and collaboration with business partners.
That is why, during development, we pay attention not only to features being easy to use, but also to who may access which information and how business processes stay traceable.
Users & permissions
The right information for the right people.
In a business, different people work with the same data – but not everyone needs the same access rights.
Klar ID distinguishes between different user roles and organisational responsibilities. This lets access to features and information be controlled according to each person’s task.
Separate data areas
Your business data belongs in your business area.
Workshops, retailers, brands and bike owners work together within Klar ID. Information must be shareable in a targeted way, without all participants automatically getting access to all data.
Our platform takes this separation into account in its user and permission structure.
Traceable processes
Important processes should stay traceable.
From the complaint to the workshop order to billing, many business processes arise.
Klar ID supports structured workflows and documents relevant information within each process. This makes collaboration easier and helps trace decisions and processing status.
Responsible handling of data
Data protection does not end at login.
When developing Klar ID, we take into account the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP / DSG).
When using external services, for example for hosting or AI features, we also pay attention to transparent information about data processing.
You can find more details in our privacy policy.
European infrastructure
Klar ID relies on infrastructure from IONOS, a German hosting provider, for operation. The specific storage locations and service providers used are documented in our privacy information.
Privacy and access control
We develop Klar ID with the requirements of the GDPR and the Swiss FADP (DSG) in mind. Role-based permissions help control access to business data in a targeted way.
National requirements
Whether Switzerland, Germany, Austria or France: we take the respective legal and technical requirements into account when developing our country-specific features.
Transparency
We distinguish between features already available, ongoing development and approvals still pending. So you can see what Klar ID currently offers.
Developed with national rules in mind
Business processes are subject to different requirements in each country. That is why, when developing Klar-ID, we take the relevant legal and technical framework into account.
Switzerland
Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / DSG). Requirements for business bookkeeping and electronic retention under the GeBüV, plus Swiss invoicing and tax rules.
Germany
GDPR, GoBD, requirements for electronic invoices under EN 16931, and the statutory rules for electronic cash-register systems.
Austria
GDPR, Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) and – where relevant to the function – the Cash Register Security Regulation (RKSV).
France
GDPR, French invoicing and tax requirements, and the statutory requirements for the security, retention and archiving of cash-register data.
The availability of individual features and their legal clearance can differ by country.
Trust through transparency.
For us, privacy, security and legal requirements are not add-on features. They are part of how we develop the product.
Trust does not come from collecting as many seals as possible. It comes from transparency, traceable processes and reliable software.
