What is cloud-based software and what are its benefits?
Cloud-based software explained simply: no local server, no maintenance effort for you, usable anytime and anywhere, no VPN needed.
In short: cloud-based software does not run on your own server in the shop but on the internet. You open it in the browser and get started right away. Klar-ID is built this way.
What does «cloud-based» mean?
With classic software you install a program on a computer or your own server in the shop. With cloud-based software the program sits with the provider. You access it over the internet.

Do I have to install anything?
No. Klar-ID is cloud-based and runs in the browser; you do not install a program and need no server of your own in the shop. You do not have to take care of installation, upkeep and maintenance. You log in and work directly with workshop orders, customers, stock, purchasing and cash book. All you need is a device with a browser – computer, iPad/tablet or smartphone – and an internet connection.
Can I also work outside the shop?
Yes, anywhere you have an internet connection. Because Klar-ID is cloud-based, you need no VPN and no connection of your own into a company network to work from outside. You open Klar-ID in the browser on a computer, iPad/tablet or smartphone and see the same orders, customers and stock data as in the shop. So you can quickly check on the go how far an order has progressed.
What does Bikeshop cost?
Bikeshop costs CHF 29 / EUR 29 net per month. It includes workshop orders, customer and bike management, stock, ordering, quotes, invoices and cash book. The first 30 days are free once you have fully completed registration and added a payment method. After that, Bikeshop can be cancelled monthly. Add-on services such as Kasse Cloud TSE, SoftPOS and Klari are not included and cost extra. All details are on the pricing page.
