What is a cloud TSE and does your bike shop need one?

A TSE is a technical security device for cash registers. In Klar-ID there is the Kasse Cloud TSE add-on service for it, for CHF 15 / EUR 15 net per month.

Klar-ID

In short: TSE is the German abbreviation for a technical security device. It secures the data of a cash register so that bookings cannot be changed afterwards without being noticed. With a cloud TSE this securing runs online instead of via a device in the shop. In Klar-ID you take payments with fiscalisation using the Kasse Cloud TSE add-on service, for CHF 15 / EUR 15 net per month.

What a TSE does

A cash register stores every sale. The TSE secures this data. This makes it possible to trace later what was booked when. It is part of what is called cash register fiscalisation.

Cloud TSE or device

There are two kinds:

  • As a device: the TSE sits, for example, as a small module in or on the register.
  • As a cloud TSE: the securing runs via a service on the internet. You do not need a separate module in the shop for it.

Which kind suits you depends on your register and your country.

Why this affects your shop

If you book sales at the register in your shop, fiscalisation affects you. What it looks like differs by country. The TSE is an example from Germany. What exactly applies to your business is best clarified with your accountant or tax adviser.

How it fits Klar-ID

  • Included in Bikeshop: invoices and cash book. The cash book works without external fiscalisation.
  • Kasse Cloud TSE add-on service: taking payments with fiscalisation via a cloud TSE, CHF 15 / EUR 15 net per month.
  • SoftPOS add-on service: card payment directly on your smartphone, price on request.

Kasse Cloud TSE and SoftPOS are aimed at bike shops in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. We discuss with you which functions are included in your country.
