What is a cash book and how do you keep one in a bike shop?

In short: in the cash book you record your shop's income and expenses. In Klar-ID the cash book is included in Bikeshop, together with invoices. What a cash book is
A cash book is a list of your income and expenses. Every movement is in it: the inner tube you sold, the repair that was paid, the spending on workshop supplies. So you know how much money came in and went out.
Cash book in Klar-ID
- Bill: you complete a workshop order or sale and create the invoice.
- Record payment: you record the payment for the invoice.
- Keep the cash book: income and expenses appear in the cash book. You can export them for bookkeeping.
The cash book in Bikeshop works without external fiscalisation.
Kasse Cloud TSE and SoftPOS as add-on services
Some shops want more: taking payments directly in the shop, with fiscalisation and card payment. For that there are two add-on services: Kasse Cloud TSE offers POS functions with fiscalisation via a cloud TSE, for CHF 15 / EUR 15 net per month. SoftPOS turns your smartphone into a card terminal, price on request.

The first 30 days are free once you have fully completed registration and added a payment method. After that, Bikeshop can be cancelled monthly. No. For invoices and cash book, Bikeshop is enough; the cash book works without external fiscalisation. You book SoftPOS if you want to accept card payments on your smartphone; you get the price on request.
