What is Veloconnect and what does it do for your bike shop?

In short: Veloconnect is a standard that bike shops and suppliers use to exchange data. In Klar-ID you use Veloconnect 1.4 to query items, prices and availability from participating suppliers. You transmit orders and use Stock B2B – directly from Klar-ID.

The problem without an interface

Without an interface you open the supplier's portal for every order. You search for the item, check the price and type in the order. Then you enter everything again in your own system. That is double work.

What Veloconnect does in Klar-ID

• Item query: look up items at the supplier.
• Price query: query the price at the supplier.
• Availability query: see whether the supplier has the item.
• Order transmission: send the order directly to the supplier.
• Stock B2B: part of the Veloconnect scope in Klar-ID.

How an order works

1. You put the parts you need into the cart. It is sorted by supplier.
2. You check item, price and availability at the participating supplier.
3. You place the order. It goes to the supplier via Veloconnect.
4. You record the delivery in goods receipt.

An order is always triggered by someone in your team. Nothing goes out automatically.

You record the delivery later in goods receipt.
