How do you keep track of customers and their bikes?

In Klar-ID customer, bike and service history are linked. So on every visit you find the right information right away.

Klar-ID

In short: in Klar-ID every bike belongs to a customer. For every bike you store brand, model and frame number. All workshop orders stay in the bike's service history. So on every visit you find what you need right away.

The problem in the shop

A customer comes into the shop and says: «The bike was already here last year.» Now you search. Which folder is it in? Which parts were replaced? What was the phone number? Without an overview this costs time, and the customer waits.

Customer, bike and history belong together

In Klar-ID three things are linked:

  • The customer with name, contact details and notes.
  • The bike with brand, model, frame number and further vehicle data. We call this the bike record.
  • The service history with all completed work on this bike.

You can assign as many bikes as you like to a customer. The family fleet or the second bike stay cleanly separated. Every bike has its own record and history.

How you work with it

  1. Add the customer: you enter the contact details once, for example at the first workshop intake.
  2. Assign the bike: you store brand, model and frame number and assign the bike to the customer.
  3. Find it again: on the next visit you search for the customer or bike and start a new order right away. The history is already there.

Search quickly

You find a bike via the search, for example by customer name, brand, model or frame number. The customer overview shows all customers with contact details in one list.

What riders get from it

Riders can manage their bike themselves with the Klar-ID bike pass and view the service history. More on the bike pass for riders page.

How it works with orders

In the workshop order you see customer and bike directly, without entering them again. After completion the work stays with the bike. All details are on the customer and bike management page.

Frequently asked questions

Can a customer have several bikes?

Yes. You assign as many bikes as you like to a customer, for example the family fleet or a second bike. Each bike has its own bike record with brand, model and frame number and its own service history. This keeps the work cleanly separated, and in a new workshop order you simply pick the right bike. More on the customer & bike management page.

How do I find a bike again?

Via the search in Klar-ID, for example by customer name, brand, model or frame number. The customer overview also shows all customers with contact details in a searchable list. Once you have found the bike, you see its bike record and the service history with all completed work. From there you start a new workshop order right away – customer and bike are then already filled in.

What does customer and bike management cost?

Customer and bike management is part of Bikeshop and costs nothing extra. Bikeshop costs CHF 29 / EUR 29 net per month. It includes workshop orders, customer and bike management, stock, ordering, quotes, invoices and cash book. The first 30 days are free once you have fully completed registration and added a payment method. After that, Bikeshop can be cancelled monthly. Add-on services such as Kasse Cloud TSE, SoftPOS and Klari are not included and cost extra. All details are on the pricing page.
